I enjoy spending time outside hiking and traveling is my favorite pastime.  I am an adventurous person with a nurturing disposition.  I love my career and share the benefit of my knowledge and compassion with all of our patients.  I have been a part of this great office since 2004.  I began working with Doctor Hickenlooper as his assistant and have since planted my roots as his Office Manager.

It's been my pleasure assisting our patients with all of their dental needs.  I plan to continue to manage this practice with efficiency and professionalism while handling your needs with care and compassion.  I feel it is my job to ensure that you have a wonderfully positive dental experience and I will provide you with just that!

Hello, I'm Catherine the registered Hygienist on the team of Rangewood Dental.

My career in the dental field began in 1989 as a Red Cross Volunteer dental assistant serving our troops and their families in West Germany.  This work motivated me to continue to get dental experience and education until I ultimately decided to earn my degree and license as a hygienist.  Since March of 2003, I enjoyed getting to know our patients while working to improve their dental health.  They inspire me as I hope I inspire them.

I was born in the Midwest where I grew up and attended three years at Indiana University.   I moved to Colorado Springs in 1988 and I worked with developmentally disabled adults for eight years.  Then I became a stay at home mom,  now with two wonderful children in their teens, I embraced a new career in Dental Assisting.  I earned my Certificate through Pikes Peak Community College and have enjoyed my new occupation.

I enjoy reading, sewing, jogging, working in the yard, love the outdoors and spending time with family.  I look forward to meeting you at your next visit and helping you achieve optimal dental health and a great smile.
